Heather Lewis
Heather Lewis is currently pursuing her graduate degree in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Utah. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine.
During her undergraduate degree, Heather worked as a research assistant in which she studied animal assisted interventions and self perceptions of individuals who are neurodivergent. Her previous experience also includes working as a behavior specialist in a school-based behavioral health program. Since starting graduate school, she has been able to work in both school and clinical settings. She has extensive experience in working with autistic individuals, particularly with assessment and group therapy. Additionally, she is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and has a strong background in behavior modification strategies.
Heather enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family and cats.
