COURTNEY LODIN

Courtney Lodin, Ph.D.

Dr. Nicole Stewart worked in public schools for 17 years before moving to private practice in clinical psychology. That journey began as a special education teacher at the elementary level, working with students with emotional and behavior disorders.

After leaving the classroom, Nicole worked for 11 years as a school psychologist in addition to administrative roles in Special Education and an alternative high school principalship. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 2010, studying behavior interventions, both social and academic.

Nicole has vast experience with all ages from preschool through high school and a range of disabilities from mild to profound.  There are few things that are more exciting for Nicole than to see a child find success with something that has been difficult. Nicole has a clear understanding of school programs and the intricacies of special education and Section 504.

Nicole enjoys all-things Utah, including cycling, running, hiking, and camping.
